STABY signed a technology supply and technology alliance agreement with REDLAB

Staby announced on the 28th that it recently signed a strategic technology supply contract and technology alliance agreement with Red Lab, a world-class streaming solution company.

Staby introduces StabyGo, a new concept hybrid OTT streaming service with this agreement. The service is expected to reflect the technology and know-how of Red Lab, which has developed an interactive video-on-demand (VoD) system since 2009.

REDLAB has successfully developed a hybrid set-top box platform for streaming VOD and a platform for cable TV to provide B2B services.

In particular, because of its excellent mobile streaming service technology, it has been applied not only to major domestic broadcasting media such as SBS and MBC, but also to overseas broadcasting media such as Australia.

Sangsoo Lee, CEO of Staby said, “We will build a framework for StabyGo by combining Red Lab’s high-quality mobile and smart TV streaming technology and platform development know-how and by applying the content recommendation function, StabyGo will improve its completeness, and furthermore, we will create an innovative OTT ecosystem.”
