Stream Protocol, a content revenue distribution platform using blockchain, officially announcedon the 19th that it has signed a partnership contract with Gala Games.

Through this collaboration, it is possible to first designate a channel dedicated to Gala Games or Town Star on the Staby Go platform and expose video clips or influencer and K-pop stars playing the game.

Stabygo is a real-time profit-sharing OTT platform equipped with Stream Protocols and plans to open beta services in mid-May. As the first use case of the Stream Protocol, NFTs containing revenue shares of content registered in Stabygo are created and traded in Stream Auction.

Gala Games is a project involving Eric Schiermeyer, co-founder of global game company Zynga, and aims to fully redefine the existing game model by granting the best ownership in the game through NFT. Eric Schiermeyer launched and operated FarmVile, Mafia Wars, and Café World with Zynga, which secured 300 million users per month and enabled Zynga to grow into a huge company.

Currently, Town Star is playable at Gala Games and Mirandus and Fortified, and Gala Coin which are under development can be used as currency on Town Star and can purchase and create NFT items. As Mirandus’ Land NFT, which is scheduled to be released recently, has a history of trading at 2,155 ETH, expectations are high. NFTs made in Gala Games will also be offered and traded in Stream Auction in the future.

“This partnership will create many interfaces with stream protocols as the game industry in the NFT market is an industry with fast growth and great scalability,” the Stream Protocol said.
